Celebrating a much-loved member of the Zappy family
Sandra Watson was a much-loved and valued member of the Zappy team for 10 years.
Before joining Zappy, Sandra spent more than 20 years at New Zealand Post, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry, along with something that came to define her time with us: a genuine passion for people.
As Zappy's Customer Relationship Manager, Sandra became the face and voice of our business. She built lasting relationships with our customers and colleagues and was someone people knew they could turn to. Her warmth, kindness and genuine care for others made people feel welcome, listened to and valued.
Sandra brought so much more to Zappy than her role. She was part of the fabric of our team and a familiar, friendly presence for so many people.
We will miss the little things that made Sandra who she was: her infectious giggle, our friendly chats, hearing about her plans for the weekend or her next holiday, and the genuine interest she took in the people around her.
Throughout her illness, Sandra showed incredible courage, strength and humour. She continued to share her experiences with honesty and wit, and even through incredibly difficult times, she had a remarkable ability to make people smile and laugh.
Sandra made a lasting impact on Zappy and on the many people who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, humour, generosity and genuine care for others will be remembered by all of us.
We are incredibly grateful for the 10 years Sandra shared with Zappy, and for everything she brought to our team, our customers and the people she worked alongside.
Sandra will be deeply missed and will always be remembered as part of the Zappy family.
